Our modular systems are connected with a high quality adhesive that removes the need for welding whilst achieving superb performance. Welded systems are bespoke fabrications, often made off-site. Modular is faster, consistent and more cost-effective for the majority of residential and commercial projects.
Yes. SWR modular posts are compatible with wire infill, glass panels and perforated panels. The infill is specified at quote stage — tell us your preference and we’ll design the system around it.
Yes. SWR modular systems are designed and tested in accordance with BS6180 and Approved Document K, covering barrier heights, load ratings and infill spacing where required. We work with you to ensure you receive the right specification to suit your project.
It depends. Modular systems are designed for installation by a competent general contractor — no welder or specialist fabricator required. It is important to understand your project in full so we can give the correct guidance on installation. We have a network of specialist installers that cover the UK.
Yes. We offer both base plate fixing and side fixing. It is important that fixings suit your substrate. Please share all the project details so we can advise you accordingly.
