Vertical stainless wire infill between top and bottom rails. A clean, contemporary alternative to horizontal wire, suited to projects where a vertical line is preferred.
4mm · side-fixed · stair stringers
Stainless wire fixed directly to the wall or stair stringer, with no posts in front of the run. Slimmest visual profile of the four systems and a great retrofit option.

Many staircase and terrace projects use Horizontal Wire — the classic spec. Vertical Wire is a popular choice too. Surface-Mounted Wire is the right choice for retrofit work or narrow stair flights without space for posts and handrails. All four wire balustrade systems are available in AISI316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel with chemical analysis testing to support this.
Wire balustrade systems tend to be 10-30% cheaper than glass systems on many projects. However, due to so many nuances on each project it is difficult to provide a fixed price difference.
