The brief
Working to deliver sophistication and safety.
A premium riverside balustrade that elevates the property while keeping every visitor safe.
The Boat House installation is definitely worth checking out. It showcases a balustrade design that not only adds a touch of sophistication but also prioritises visitor safety. The planning phase for this project spanned a period of eight years, with SWR providing a comprehensive project management service throughout.
This encompassed detailed site surveys, full specifications, and the supply and installation of various components. The balustrade itself spanned an impressive 110 metres, comprising 30 metres of Glass Channel Balustrade and 80 metres of Modular Balustrade.
A total of 3.5 tonnes of glass were meticulously fitted to create this remarkable structure. To maintain a sleek and tidy appearance, the Channel track was cleverly concealed within the decking structure, delivering a clean architectural finish across the full length of the run.
